Nextcast Skagit heads are easy powerful Skagit style casting heads, designed with "Funnel Taper" in mind for an exceptional control in casting. These heads feature a powerful front taper to deliver fast sink tips and large flies to the strike zone fast to where water is cold or fast. They are designed/developed with a collective knowledge of skillful friends and steelheaders to meet the endless conditions of the NW Steelhead rivers.
Our Skagit heads offer two different head length models: Mini and Tungsten26.
Mini - 15' to 20', a short skagit head for obstructed conditions and small rivers.
SteelheadFinder22 - 20' - 25', a mid size skagit head for typical winter steelheading.
SteelheadFinder27 - 25' to 30', a skagit heads for where you can cast as far as you can.
